Kennedy, Macmillan and nuclear weapons

"In Kennedy, Macmillan and Nuclear Weapons, Donette Murray offers an absorbing account of the crisis that threatened to unbalance relations between the two countries. Making exhaustive use of newly opened archive material, she usefully details two of the major problems faced by the allies: the Skybolt missile cancellation and the debate over the controversial Multilateral Nuclear Force proposal. The result is perhaps the most up-to-date and comprehensive analysis yet of Anglo-American defence relations during the Kennedy presidency."--BOOK JACKET.
