War -- Moral and ethical aspects
War and society -- United States

"Howard Zinn on War includes new and selected writings on a subject that has concerned and fascinated Zinn throughout his career. Here's Zinn on the recent wars against Iraq and in Kosovo, on the Vietnam War, World War II, and on the meaning of war generally in a world that has so far proven unable to overcome the predilection of nations for destroying their neighbors.

Zinn explores our warring ways, as well as his own transformation from Brooklyn Navy Yard shipfitter, to bombardier, to anti-war activist."--BOOK JACKET.
