The founding

Set in the year 1434. This is the story of the Morland family dynasty in the making. Edward Morland arranges an influential marriage for his eldest son Robert. Edward Morland is a highly successful sheep farmer who has a vision and much ambition for his family. His scheming, wealth and ambition will see his son build and expand, with the help of his wife, the spirited Eleanor, one of the most profitable and well respected wool trading merchant empires. His grandsons will stand in battle fighting alongside Richard the Duke of York, in the bloody civil wars which set neighbours against each other and threatened to divide families.
