The Bachman Books

Synopsis:

Omnibus collection of four early Bachman novels (RAGE, THE LONG WALK, ROADWORK, THE RUNNING MAN) and the essay "Why I Was Bachman." RAGE is a story of stunning psychological horror about a disturbed high school student; THE LONG WALK describes an eery contest with death; ROADWORK is a strange variation on the theme of "Home Sweet Home"; and THE RUNNING MAN is a fast-paced thriller where you bet your life--literally.

NOTE: Stephen King halted future printing of this book due to the sensitive nature of the material found in RAGE. He has written an essay GUNS which addresses some of his sentiments regarding this decision.
